My hubby is such a good man. He understands my compulsively practical side. He knows my love for truly "useful" gifts. What else could prompt him to give me a Wusthof Cleaver for Valentine's Day 3 years ago? Other women might ask, "What were you thinking?" Not me. I couldn't have been more thrilled.
Fast forward to Christmas morning. To my delight, my hubby surprised me with a Shun, Ken Onion Series, Classic 10 inch Chef's Knife. What a beautiful knife. It is truly a work of art.
To say that this knife is sharp is an understatement. It slices through meat like a hot knife through butter. In fact, it slices through everything with virtually no effort. The Shun is hands down the best knife I've ever owned.
I am one lucky woman.
